Orcas Island Fire and Rescue wishes everyone a safe and fun-filled Independence Day. It is important, however, that local law ordinances are followed. It is unlawful for any person to use any fireworks within the unincorporated areas of San Juan County, except for duly authorized public or private displays for which a permit has been issued under State and County Regulations.
